Google PR, what is the point?
A lot of people nowadays seem more worried about their websites page rank than anything else. Is there any good reason to worry about your PR? I know that Google uses this ranking system to determine the “authority and importance” of a site based on the number and quality of links pointing to the site. In the past page rank was a major factor in calculating Google serp’s, but according to many sources on the net this is not the case anymore. It may still be a factor but it doesn’t have as much impact as it once did. So the way I see it PR is pretty much pointless to worry about. Assuming all the above is true. It seems like it is just a score spammers use to decide if your site is worth spamming or not. Thats my opinion anyway.
